My main academic interest – to contribute to a modernization of the creation and use of knowledge (its alignment with contemporary purposes, epistemic insights and technological possibilities) – is being developed in two stages. The focus of the first stage, called information design, was to develop a suitable methodology and a portfolio of examples. The focus of the second stage, called knowledge federation, is to evolve a suitable social organization.
