Nicolai Langfeldt's homepage

My homepage. Homepages are used for many things. Here the shy tell you the things they would never tell anyone face to face. Here the meek freak out. Here the cool make fools of themselves. Here people can be what they want to be, or not, depending.

My homepage is an uncool place. I can say this assured that no ``cool'' people have links to my page. It means I'm not cool. This is a good sign, because, as everyone knows, cool people suffer from inflated egos. The lack of cool is a natural consequence of my geekness. I like computers, programming, and my hp48 calculator (see below).

I have stopped pretending to be a computer science undergraduate student at University of Oslo, Department of Informatics. The world is too full of distractions. I spend a lot of my time at work,

In my spare time I enjoy hacking, fiddling with Linux listening to music, reading a large number of books (it has been said that I consume books rather than reading them), and reading Comics!. And and last but not least I like spending time and experimenting with slow cooking in the very pleasant company of Anne Line, my wife.

I have a utterly boring .plan file. (be warned, it's in Norwegian) (on the upside it's got some phone numbers.

Me and the net

Since the HP48 calculator came out I have been collecting programs posted for it. First on Comp.Sys.Handhelds and later on Comp.Sources.HP48. My entire collection of HP48 Software is available online right here. You might also want to subscribe to Comp.Sys.HP48 if you've got one of these wonderful machines.

I maintain a Linux site. On it you will find things of interest to norwegians as well as a complete HOWTO mirror.

I'm also the primary hacker of w3mir, a rather complete WWW/HTTP mirroring script.

Dyslexics on the world untie!

I am a certified such. If you find spelling/grammar errors in my pages please e-mail me at janl@langfeldt.net.
