Biography:

1976-1982  :  Student at University of Oslo, Cand.real.
1982-1990  :  Researcher at Center for Industial reseach (SI), Oslo
                  now part of the SINTEF-group
1990-1999  :  Doctoral student at the informatics department, UiO and
              Consultant in object-oriented modelling. 
1997-2000  :  Animagic Systems a.s. and The Mobile Media Company

2007-      :  The iLabs project at Telenor R&I

• - people: easy understanding of how components work
• - organisation: independent development of collaborating components
• - safety: knowing that the components work as planned when combined
• Formalisation of object-oriented models from the above perspectives
• Guidelines for design of flexible and efficient components

Some languages I've used professionaly:

Simula, FORTRAN, Smalltalk-76, Smalltalk-80, Object Pascal, PL/M, 
various assembly languages, Object Lisp, C++, Java, PHP, 
HTML, various XML formats, JavaScript, various make/ant type systems,
TEX, runoff formatting language, SQL, COBOL and more.

I've also tried other languages e.g. Prolog, List, ML, Objective C, 
Eiffel, Beta, Ada. And formal theoretical languages like Lambda and 
Pi calculus (modelling functions and processes respectively)
and created my own Omicron calculus for reasoning about objects' behaviors.
