Pictures from a holiday

In the summer of 1995 I got a nice present from a bunch of friends I have over in the United States. Several of them had pooled together and put up the money to pay for a round trip for me to the US that summer. I was gonna come over for five weeks, starting with the week before the 4th of July. I flew into New York City by Lufthansa connecting through Frankfurt on the 28th of June. I spent just one day (half a day really) in NYC as I was scheduled to take the train down to Washington DC to stay there for a week. Still, I got to see at least a very little part of Manhattan while I was in New York. Here are some of the pictures I took while I was there.
